Alhaitham Genshin Impact is a fan-favorite Dendro character, and one of the strongest Dendro users in the game – only second to the Dendro Archon, Nahida. He has a fun playstyle, deals a lot of damage – and he’s hot, what more can you ask from a single unit? Using services to top up Genshin account might be a good idea if you want to pull for him and his weapon, though!
However, with all of these pros… is there any reason not to pull for him? Let’s dive in.
Genshin Impact Alhaitham’s Playstyle
Alhaitham Genshin Impact is basically the only Dendro character who could work in a Mono-Dendro team as he deals a lot of Dendro damage that doesn’t necessarily depend on Elemental Mastery and elemental reactions with Hydro or Electro units.
His damage depends on his “Rainswords” and despite what many may call him, he is NOT a Dendro Keqing.
There is a certain skill ceiling to his rotation in order to keep the Dendro Rainswords coming to deal MASSIVE amounts of damage.
However, Genshin Impact Alhaitham really shines in Dendro-based reaction teams, but especially as a “Spread” DPS. He is practically the only Spread DPS available in the game, and since not many people know how the Spread reaction works, it’s really simple.
To activate Spread, which boosts Dendro DMG done, you have to first Quicken an enemy – Apply Dendro then Electro, and then apply Dendro again to activate spread.
Genshin Impact Alhaitham scales really well off Crit Rate and DMG, but Elemental Mastery can also give him a significant boost in damage.
Reasons to Pull for Genshin Impact Alhaitham
Now that we have the playstyle out of the way, let’s talk about why you should pull for Alhaitham Genshin Impact
Strong DPS
As we already mentioned, Alhaitham Genshin Impact is the best Dendro DPS around – and while Nahida is an overall better Dendro character, Genshin Impact Alhaitham doesn’t lag too much behind her.
His looks
Looks/Appearance/Design are all obviously very important aspects of a character, and Alhaitham Genshin Impact is one of the best designed characters in the game. Both from the perspective of male and female players.
Story
His involvement in the Sumeru Archon Quests has made him a fan favorite. His cunning, smarts, and overall demeanor shown off during missions have all made him a more compelling character who stands out from most other Sumeru 5-star characters such as Dehya and Tighnari.
Reasons to not Pull for Genshin Impact Alhaitham
Clorinde is probably the only immediate reason you might want to use your Primogems elsewhere. She’s a new character, and looks like she’s going to be fun to play while also being an Electro DPS powerhouse. In addition to all of that, she can be used as movement-enhancing character since you can repeat her E skill multiple times to dash forward quite a bit. She’s on our Genshin Impact Characters Female guide as one of the best female characters around, so you should definitely check that out too.
The other reason is obvious – Natlan is just around the corner, and all of us might want to keep our Primogems for the new characters that are going to get released, including but not limited to – Dottore/Other Fatui Harbingers, and the Natlan Archon who is still a mystery.
